Ozark Regional Transit
Ozark Regional Transit, Inc. is dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and affordable public transportation to both the rural and urban residents of the four county area within our jurisdiction
Ozark Regional Transit (ORT) has been providing transportation in Northwest Arkansas since 1978. Our Board of Directors consists of regional leadership and we continue our mission to provide demand-response transportation to those who do not, or cannot drive.
In July 2002, ORT began our fixed-route service in Fayetteville under the Job Access and Reverse Commute (JARC) with funding from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
In the fall of 2005, we converted or added a total of six new fixed-routes in Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale and Fayetteville. Currently, we operate fourteen Fixed-Routes in addition to ADA/Para-Transit and Demand-Response services.
