Mental Health in the Workplace is geared toward supervisors, managers, and HR staff within your organization. This fast-paced, interactive training is a must for today’s workplace.  Mental Health in the Workplace is built on an innovative model of intervention training that teaches participants to recognize and address individuals with mental disorders and/or addictions. The information you gather from this training will prepare you to promote workplace safety and the safety of the individual in crisis.

Mental Health in the Workplace also provides a foundation for promoting workplace solutions to assist individuals with a mental illness and/or addiction. Participants will be given the tools to reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues in their organizations and reduce the need for employee disciplinary actions resulting from mental health episodes.

This training will be presented by Dr. Buster Lackey, Executive Director of the National Alliance for Mental Illness of Arkansas (NAMI Arkansas).  Along with his years of experience in mental health work and executive leadership, Dr. Lackey brings a healthy dose of humor to this fascinating topic.
