In July, 2006, ATA was pleased to offer, to our qualifying members, workers’ compensation coverage through the ATA Workers’ Compensation Self-Insured Trust (WCSIT). The WCSIT was established to benefit our member organizations by offering full workers’ compensation coverage, lower premium rates, and quality claims and other services from within Arkansas. The WCSIT operates under authority of the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission and is managed by an eight member board comprised of representatives from the WCSIT membership.
Risk Management Resources, a division of BancorpSouth Insurance Services located in Little Rock was selected as the third-party administrator to manage claims and loss control. Claims services are handled through their offices.

In 2009, ATA's WCSIT issued a refund of premiums in the amount of $500,000 from 2007 to 31 member organizations.
The Trust currently has 40 members in 2010.
