The Jonesboro Economical Transportation System (JETS), a department of the City of Jonesboro, began operations on May 3, 2006. The system began with three fixed routes supplemented by para-transit service. In January of 2007, JETS added an additional route to better serve the citizens of the City of Jonesboro.
Since operations started, JETS has moved over 105,000 passengers. The JETS staff continues to evaluate the services that it provides to look for area areas where improvements may be made to the system.
JETS staff works diligently toward providing quality services, on time, with quality results.
