Transportation Training Opportunities January – March, 2011

Below is the listing for “OPEN” transportation classes through March 2011.

Current "OPEN" classes include:

• Jan. 10            10:00 AM – 3:00 PM          Child Passenger Safety

• Jan. 13            9:00 AM – 4:00 PM            DHS/DDS Transportation Training

• Jan. 24            10:00 AM – 1:00 PM          Coaching the Van Driver 3

• Feb. 7              10:00 AM – 1:00 PM          Supervisor Drug & Alcohol Training

• Feb. 10            9:00 AM – 4:00 PM            DHS/DDS Transportation Training

• Feb. 15            10:00 AM – 1:00 PM          Passenger Assistance and Wheelchair Securement

• Mar. 7              10:00 AM – 3:00 PM          Child Passenger Safety

• Mar. 14            10:00 AM – 1:00 PM          Coaching the Van Driver 3

• Mar. 17            9:00 AM – 4:00 PM            DHS/DDS Transportation Training

All "OPEN" classes will be held at the Arkansas Public Transit Safety and Resource Center in North Little Rock.

Effective March 2, 2009, ATA has implemented a new invoicing policy for all “open” classes.  Agencies will now be invoiced for ALL employees registered for such classes.  Exceptions will be made when a representative from the organization calls to cancel the registration BEFORE the class begins.
